About the Role
As a Senior Azure Data Engineer at goPro Consultancy Group, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures using Azure technologies. Your day-to-day tasks will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs. You will be working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration and to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.The role is fully remote, with a requirement to work 4-6 hours a day during New York's standard office hours. This is a long-term contract position that offers a challenging and dynamic work environment. As a senior member of the team, you will also be involved in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of best practices within the organization.

What You Will Do
- Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Build and maintain scalable data architectures using Azure Storage, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop data solutions.
- Work with database architecture testing methodologies to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools to provide insights into key business performance metrics.
- Optimize data delivery and automate manual processes using Azure Synapse analytics.
- Work with Azure DevOps and Azure Purview to manage data resources and infrastructure.

What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Data Factory and data pipeline development.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Storage, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with database architecture testing methodology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure Synapse analytics.
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal).
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions and Azure technologies.
