About the Role

Proxify is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their network, responsible for building modern and scalable web applications using Node.js and Nest.js. This is a long-term, full-time remote role with opportunities to work on innovative projects that make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend applications
  • Implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and microservices architectures
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Integrate with databases and external services via APIs
  • Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Node.js
  • 3+ years of experience with Nest.js
  • Strong expertise in Node.js and Nest.js frameworks
  • Proven experience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Solid experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture and message brokers

  • Ensure your portfolio includes examples of scalable web applications built with Node.js and Nest.js, highlighting your expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
