About the Role
As a Senior BI Front End Engineer at Globaldev Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading the company's front-end strategy, driving the transition to advanced Power BI architectures, and integrating AI capabilities into business intelligence solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated data models, leveraging AI to deliver actionable insights that empower global leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions. The BI Team is a close-knit group of professionals passionate about data analysis and visualization, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-organizational functions to drive business growth.The role is based in Ukraine, but Globaldev Group offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to work from anywhere while maintaining a strong connection with the team. With a primary focus on Power BI, complex data modeling, and master-level DAX writing, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the company's success.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain high-end interactive dashboards and complex data models within Power BI
- Implement robust row-level security (RLS), role definitions, and permission management structures
- Partner closely with the Back-end developer to develop, optimize, and support database processes
- Drive the AI roadmap, researching and designing the future integration of AI and LLM agents into the BI ecosystem
- Prepare Power BI and database layers for smart automation and natural language querying
- Collaborate with global business stakeholders to translate complex strategic requirements into intuitive, reliable, and highly scalable analytical tools
- Develop and maintain Star Schema database models
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines
- Work with QlikSense and Oracle Autonomous Database
- Implement advanced row-level security (RLS) configurations
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in BI Front-end development, with a primary focus on Power BI, complex data modeling, and master-level DAX writing
- Proven experience in managing Power BI user roles, workspaces, capacities, and implementing advanced row-level security (RLS) configurations
- Experience in Back-end development, SQL, designing ETL/ELT pipelines, and building Star Schema database models
- Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Experience with AI tools, generative AI solutions, or exploring AI-based automation, agents, or intelligent workflows
- Fluent English
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle ERP Fusion
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and data science concepts
- Certification in Power BI or related technologies
- Experience working in a remote team environment
