Senior BI/Data Analyst

About the Role

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehouses and lakes, to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
• Collaborate with data engineers to improve data collection, quality, and accessibility.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, influencing product and business decisions.
• Design and implement data visualizations and reports to facilitate data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Develop and maintain documentation of data systems, processes, and analyses for transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in the development of the data analytics team, contributing to the growth and skill development of colleagues.
• Engage with external data providers and partners to integrate external data sources into Cloudflare's data ecosystem.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in statistics and data analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on business intelligence, data warehousing, and data visualization.
• Proven experience with Google Analytics, including data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how data analytics can drive business outcomes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
