About the Role

The Senior Business Development Director UKI & Nordics role at Cycloid is a high-impact, frontline position that requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and emotional intelligence. As a trusted advisor, you will drive new business acquisition and unlock expansion opportunities across the customer base, consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets. Cycloid's internal developer platform and portal are designed to optimize the developer experience and operational efficiency, and as a product ambassador, you will play a crucial role in promoting the company's image and reputation.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation to negotiation, close, and long-term account growth. You will identify and pursue high-value opportunities, develop compelling solution narratives, and position Cycloid's platform as mission-critical to customers' success. As a strategic leader, you will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, combining sharp business judgment with strong emotional intelligence.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the UKI & Nordics region
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities, leveraging your network and industry expertise
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a proactive hunting approach
  • Utilize HubSpot to manage sales pipelines, track customer interactions, and provide data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Partners, Marketing, Pre-sales, Product, and Technical, to drive growth and improve processes
  • Analyze market developments and competitive offers to stay ahead of the curve
  • Provide clear and concise reporting, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc updates
  • Participate in the improvement of business processes and the construction of the corporate culture
  • Promote Cycloid's image and reputation, and communicate the value of the internal developer platform and portal

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of driving growth and revenue
  • Expertise in HubSpot and Excel, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive sales and growth
  • Strong business judgment, emotional intelligence, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience working with C-level executives and key stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, with a focus on internal developer platforms and portals
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven insights
