About the Role
The Senior Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of Generac Power Systems in the US market. This position will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development plans, identifying new business opportunities, and building partnerships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business development, digital skills, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with the company's mission for a sustainable future. You will represent Generac Power Systems at an executive level, collaborating with internal leadership to deliver innovative and delightful customer experiences. Your expertise in business development, partnership building, and strategic planning will be essential in driving growth and expansion in the US market.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth and expansion in the US market
- Identify new business opportunities and build partnerships with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute long-term strategies
- Represent Generac Power Systems at an executive level, delivering innovative and delightful customer experiences
- Develop and manage partner integration requirements, ensuring timelines are met and partners have necessary resources
- Collaborate with the sales team on revenue strategy, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize deal terms with partners, working closely with Finance and Legal
- Coordinate with product teams to define, prioritize, and manage partner integration requirements
- Collaborate with the Energy Services sales team on revenue strategy, establishing KPIs to measure success
What We Are Looking For
- 7-12+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, or strategy consulting (MBA preferred)
- Experience in industries including consumer electronics, SaaS, or connected devices
- Proven track record of building and delivering ROI-driven business opportunities
- Expertise in business development strategy grounded in customer and market insights
- Strong foundation in digital skills, including remote work and virtual collaboration
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
