The Senior Business Development Representative role is a critical component of Docker's sales strategy, and as such, you will be expected to be proactive, driven, and results-oriented. What You Will Do
- Utilize prospecting strategies to identify and engage with potential customers who demonstrate a propensity to acquire commercial licenses
- Conduct research to identify key decision-makers and build targeted prospecting lists
- Craft and deliver compelling pitches to prospective customers, highlighting the value proposition of Docker's products
- Schedule discovery meetings with sales representatives and prospective customers
- Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in Docker products
- Partner with cross-functional teams to share customer feedback and insights
- Engage in team development and mentoring to ensure the continued growth and success of the sales team
- Achieve a target number of qualified prospects and new opportunities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including prospect interactions and sales pipeline management
- Continuously update and refine sales strategies to ensure optimal results
What We Are Looking For
- A minimum of 1+ years of work experience in a sales role, preferably in the software or technology industry
- A proven track record of success in sales, with a strong focus on lead generation and prospect qualification
- Excellent phone, writing, and listening skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and engage with customers
- A strong understanding of the industry, including the latest trends and developments in software development and delivery
- Experience with Salesforce and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new sales tools and technologies
- A proactive and driven approach, with a strong focus on results and a willingness to go above and beyond to achieve targets
- A team-first mentality, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork
- A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a field related to sales, marketing, or business
