About the Role

The Senior Business Development Representative position at Hire Hangar is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a unique blend of sales, marketing, and communication skills. As a key member of the business development team, you will be responsible for driving pipeline growth through a combination of high-volume outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification. This is a hands-on, quota-carrying role that demands a high level of comfort with outbound calling, strong discovery skills, and full ownership of the business development motion.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, with a strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate complex sales ecosystems. You will be working closely with the sales team to generate and schedule qualified meetings and product demos, and will be expected to maintain accurate CRM records for all activities, leads, and outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Execute high-volume outbound outreach via cold calls, email, and social channels to identify and qualify potential customers
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert interest into sales-ready opportunities
  • Lead discovery conversations to assess prospect needs, pain points, and fit
  • Generate and schedule qualified meetings and product demos for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate CRM records for all activities, leads, and outcomes
  • Follow established sales processes, messaging, and qualification frameworks
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and meeting targets
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Provide feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to improve overall sales performance

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or a related role
  • Proven comfort with high-volume outbound calling and multi-channel prospecting
  • Prior remote work experience and fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar)
  • Experience working with US or UK-based companies
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
  • Strong communication skills, resilience, and a results-driven mindset

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
