Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Channel Partner Manager role at Ramp is a critical position that will drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships. As a key member of the Franchise Channel team, you will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and onboarding new partners, as well as developing and executing comprehensive GTM plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, growth, direct sales, and product engineering, to drive co-marketing opportunities and inform the product roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in partner sales, business development, partnership management, or channel partnerships. You will have a proven track record of acquiring and building net new relationships with corporate and franchise partners, enabling and onboarding their businesses, and achieving consistent quota attainment and overachievement through strategic relationship development.

What You Will Do

  • Source, qualify, and conduct deep discovery with net new Franchise partners
  • Sign partners and create comprehensive GTM plans
  • Drive revenue for Ramp through generating referrals from franchisors and franchisees
  • Identify and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within an organization
  • Educate partners on Ramp's offering and articulate the value props
  • Hold monthly and quarterly business reviews with key partners
  • Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform the product roadmap
  • Become an expert in Ramp's product, features, and workflows
  • Build new (and improve existing) workflows and sales motions to contribute to the team's continued success
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to optimize sales strategies
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience with a minimum 3 years of experience in Partner Sales, Business Development, Partnership Management, or Channel Partnerships
  • Strong discovery skills, with a knack for identifying pain points and consultative selling
  • History as a top performer, regularly exceeding targets and quotas
  • Dedication to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent listening skills
  • Bias for action and strong desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who can build relationships across the company
  • Experience with and affinity for AI tooling that empowers your work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box

  • Prior experience partnering with both franchisors and franchisees in a consulting, sales, or partnerships capacity
