About the Role
The Senior Client Director, AI-Driven Commercial Effectiveness role at ODAIA is a high-impact, high-autonomy position that combines sales leadership with strategic vision. As a key member of the cross-functional GTM team, this role will own the full commercial lifecycle, from identifying whitespace opportunities to securing multi-year contracts with top life sciences organizations. Reporting to the Managing Principal, the Senior Client Director will lead and collaborate with a specialized team, known as a pod, to drive commercial growth and expand ODAIA's footprint in the market.The role is not a traditional account management position, but rather a strategic sales leadership role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the life sciences industry, as well as experience with AI-driven commercial effectiveness platforms.
ODAIA's mission is to reduce patients' time to therapy by facilitating meaningful interactions with healthcare providers, and the Senior Client Director will play a critical role in achieving this goal. By driving revenue growth, building executive-level relationships, and expanding ODAIA's presence in the market, this role will have a direct impact on the company's success and the lives of patients around the world.
What You Will Do
- Own and drive new business acquisition across mid-market and enterprise life sciences organizations, with full accountability for pipeline generation, deal progression, and revenue targets
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, navigating commercial, SIP, SFE, and IT buying groups to build consensus and close deals
- Identify whitespace opportunities across business units, therapeutic areas, and brands to expand ODAIA's footprint within strategic accounts
- Develop compelling business cases that connect ODAIA's AI-driven insights to measurable commercial outcomes, such as revenue acceleration, field productivity, and competitive advantage
- Conduct strategic discovery conversations that uncover pain points across commercial organizations, translating complex analytics into executive-ready narratives
- Build and deepen executive-level relationships with decision-makers across Director, VP, and C-suite levels, positioning ODAIA as a long-term transformation partner
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for key accounts, maintaining alignment across internal and client stakeholders throughout the customer lifecycle
- Collaborate with the Managing Principal to shape account strategy, prioritize high-value opportunities, and ensure seamless execution
- Partner with Solution Architecture, Business Acceleration, Product, and Customer Success teams to co-create value-driven proposals and demonstrations
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ODAIA's AI platform and its applications in the life sciences industry
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, sales operations, or a related field, with a focus on life sciences or a related industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, building executive-level relationships, and expanding a company's presence in the market
- Experience with AI-driven commercial effectiveness platforms, CRM systems such as Salesforce, and data analysis tools such as Excel
- Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, including commercial operations, sales strategies, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive results
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop compelling business cases and drive revenue growth
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, with a focus on collaboration and results-driven execution
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or life sciences
Nice to Have
- Experience with data analytics and insights, including data visualization and reporting tools
