About the Role
ClickHouse is seeking a Senior Cloud Performance Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam, with the option to work remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing the cloud-native ClickHouse Cloud Platform.Responsibilities
- Benchmark system performance, database performance analysis, capacity sizing, and optimization
- Troubleshoot and debug application and server errors and logs
- Recommend configuration tuning/optimizations for performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate with the ClickHouse core development team, cloud team, and security team to improve the performance of ClickHouse Cloud
Requirements
- Proven track record of understanding the performance limits of different distributed databases
- Experience in database benchmarking, test automation, system engineering, performance analysis, and capacity management
