## About the Role As a Senior Commercial Account Executive at Gitlab, you will be the primary connection between the company and its customers in the CIS region. Your role will involve selling and expanding the adoption of Gitlab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform to organizations with up to 4,000 team members. You will report to an Area Sales Manager and work closely with various teams, including business development, marketing, and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in software sales, particularly in managing a varied book of business in the mid-market or enterprise context.

## What You Will Do - Own a broad book of business across the CIS region, managing a portfolio of customers and prospects - Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand Gitlab's customer base - Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations - Conduct needs assessments and develop customized solutions to meet customer needs - Collaborate with technical teams to deliver product demos and trials - Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that customer needs are met and revenue targets are achieved - Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends - Work closely with marketing and business development teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies - Provide feedback and insights to product and engineering teams to inform product development and roadmap
