About the Role

The Senior Commercial Sales Development Representative plays a pivotal role in BLP Digital's growth strategy, focusing on connecting with decision-makers in leading industrial companies to create new opportunities. This role is integral to building relationships, uncovering needs, and driving the sales process forward, converting leads into customers to meet sales targets. As part of a fast-growing scale-up with over 80 employees, this position combines the agility of a startup with the structure and ambition of a scaling business.

The Senior Sales Development Representative will work closely with the Sales Team, leveraging AI-first and data-driven approaches to optimize leads and focus on meaningful customer engagement. This includes utilizing tools like HubSpot for CRM management and Excel for data analysis. The ideal candidate will be adept at crafting tailored value propositions by understanding the unique pain points of industrial stakeholders across finance, procurement, and sales.

What You Will Do

  • Take ownership of targeted outreach to potential clients through cold calls and personalized messages.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and process analysis with key stakeholders to ensure a strong handover of qualified demo opportunities.
  • Develop and refine sales strategies based on market feedback and performance data.
  • Continuously update commercial knowledge, analyzing P2P and O2C processes, and tracking industry trends to stay ahead of the market.
  • Prioritize complex tasks with clients and identify potential bottlenecks to push deals forward.
  • Utilize HubSpot to accurately track information and manage leads.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to build relationships and drive sales forward.
  • Provide feedback to improve sales processes and contribute to the team's growth.

What We Are Looking For

  • Fluency in German (essential if based in DACH) and English.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Psychology, Business, or a similar field.
  • Confidence in picking up the phone, following scripts, and asking open-ended questions.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to accurately track information in our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Structured thinking and organization skills to keep up with day-to-day tasks.
  • Resilience in handling rejection and maintaining momentum through long sales cycles.
