Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Construction Quality Manager will play a critical role in leading and scaling the quality management system across ILOS Projects' portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and BESS construction projects in Europe. This senior role will be responsible for quality strategy, governance, and delivery across multiple live construction sites, ensuring that standards are applied consistently and defects are prevented. The successful candidate will act as the central quality lead within the construction organization, driving standardization, continuous improvement, and cross-project learning while supporting and developing project-based quality teams. As a key member of the construction team, the Senior Construction Quality Manager will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that quality is at the forefront of every project. This will involve developing and implementing QA/QC procedures, overseeing quality performance across multiple sites, and driving NCR management and defect tracking. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to delivering high-quality assets, ILOS Projects is looking for a seasoned quality manager who can lead by example and drive a culture of excellence within the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and continuously improve ILOS Projects' Quality Management System (QMS) across engineering, construction, testing, and handover
  • Define and implement standard QA/QC procedures, ITPs, checklists, and reporting frameworks across all projects
  • Oversee quality performance across multiple solar PV and BESS construction sites in different European markets
  • Ensure robust site quality assurance across key scopes, including civil works, ramming, mounting structures, and PV module installation
  • Drive NCR management, defect tracking, snagging, and punch-list closure, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Act as the senior quality interface for EPC contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, challenging poor-quality delivery where required
  • Monitor quality KPIs, digital QA tools, and reporting to identify recurring issues, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Support project handover readiness, ensuring quality documentation, as-builts, and test records are complete and accurate
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project-level quality managers, QA/QC engineers, and site inspectors

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and applicable technical standards
  • Experience with Inspection & Test Plans, NCR processes, quality documentation systems, and handover readiness
  • Ability to challenge contractors, drive accountability, and maintain standards in fast-paced site environments
  • Strong reporting, organization, and stakeholder management capability
  • Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on where required
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages are an advantage

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital QA tools and reporting
  • Knowledge of European construction regulations and standards
