About the Role

The Senior Consultant - Healthcare Project Director position at Nordic Global is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and adaptability. As a remote worker, you will be responsible for leading Epic-related projects and ensuring their success, often in complex and dynamic environments. Your experience in healthcare IT and Epic systems will be crucial in navigating the technical and political aspects of these projects.

Day-to-day, you will work closely with client teams, providing mentorship and guidance on project strategy and system build. Your ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems will be essential in maintaining the trust and satisfaction of Nordic Global's clients. The role also involves tracking and documenting risks and issues, analyzing workflows, and providing optimization suggestions to enhance the efficiency of Epic systems.

What You Will Do

  • Perform Epic-related consulting and administrative computer services for Nordic Global clients
  • Apply technical expertise to individual client system builds to identify and resolve problems
  • Mentor client project teams in project and system build strategy
  • Track and document risks and issues, and analyze workflows
  • Work closely with project leadership, including documentation and facilitation
  • Lead meetings regarding project status and ongoing work-product coordination
  • Monitor workflows, provide documentation, and offer optimization suggestions
  • Collaborate with Epic end-users to ensure system builds meet client needs
  • May attend corporate functions as a representative of Nordic Global

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience as a healthcare IT project director
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing Epic projects on time and on budget
  • Possession of at least one Epic certification, with multiple certifications preferred
  • Strong project management skills, with PMP certification strongly preferred for leadership roles
  • Minimum of 2 years of Epic work experience after certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain focus, and adapt to new project assignments
  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of professionalism

  • Experience in training roles related to Epic systems
  • Knowledge of workflow analysis and optimization techniques
