About the Role
The Senior Consultant role at Mindrift is a unique opportunity to work on frontier model post-training by building domain-specific reinforcement learning environments, tasks, and evaluation frameworks. As a consultant with direct experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, you will be part of a growing team shaping how AI learns high-level business reasoning. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building realistic consulting project environments and creating detailed project scenarios grounded in real engagement dynamics.Mindrift, powered by Toloka, connects top domain experts with cutting-edge AI initiatives, enabling them to shape how next-generation generative models learn, reason, and perform. The company is launching a Management Consulting domain focused on translating real-world consulting engagements into structured learning environments for advanced AI systems. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in this initiative, working independently to design structured consulting tasks for AI agents and define evaluation criteria and quality standards.
What You Will Do
- Build realistic consulting project environments, creating detailed project scenarios grounded in real engagement dynamics
- Design structured consulting tasks for AI agents, breaking projects into discrete tasks that mirror real consulting work
- Define evaluation criteria and quality standards, developing grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics, and golden-answer solutions for each task
- Produce client-ready deliverables under time pressure, forming and defending recommendations under uncertainty
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and deliver training and support to junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise
- Analyze complex data sets, identifying insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, or Bain
- Hands-on project experience in structuring ambiguous client problems into workable analytical plans
- Ability to build financial models, market analyses, or synthesized findings from messy inputs
- Experience producing client-ready deliverables under time pressure, forming and defending recommendations under uncertainty
- Strong structured problem-solving and hypothesis-driven thinking
- Ability to translate vague problems into clear analytical steps and deliverables
- High attention to logical consistency and output quality
- Independent, self-directed working style
- Clear written English (B2+)
