About the Role

The Senior Content Operations & Localization Contractor will play a pivotal role in scaling the company's machine-readable AI translation system across more than 5 global markets. This involves building, implementing, and maintaining systems, governance, and training to ensure consistency across distributed teams. Day-to-day, the role entails collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that localization frameworks are not only scaled but also aligned with the company's global strategy.

The success of this role is crucial as it directly impacts the company's ability to provide cohesive brand experiences across different languages and markets. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams, necessitating strong facilitation and documentation skills. What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement scalable content operations and localization strategies
  • Build, maintain, and govern structured terminology databases, taxonomies, glossaries, or knowledge graphs for machine consumption
  • Manage and coordinate the work of distributed teams to ensure consistent performance
  • Facilitate training and capacity building for internal stakeholders on localization best practices
  • Conduct quality control and ensure high standards of localized content
  • Manage stakeholders and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain documentation for content operations and localization processes
  • Analyze and solve problems related to content operations and localization
  • Collaborate with the development team to improve AI translation systems

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience leading Content Operations, Localization Management, or Information Architecture projects at scale
  • Experience managing localization across 5+ languages or markets simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with structured terminology databases, taxonomies, glossaries, or knowledge graphs
  • Proven ability to govern cross-functional teams
  • Strong facilitation and documentation skills
  • Fluent professional English
  • Experience with remote work and managing distributed teams
  • Understanding of AI translation systems and their application in content operations
