About the Role
The Senior Cost Manager Estimator plays a vital role in OCMI, Inc.'s cost management and estimating team, leading comprehensive estimating efforts for various construction projects. This is a remote opportunity that allows professionals to work from the comfort of their own space while being part of a passionate team dedicated to making a difference in the communities they serve. The ideal candidate will have experience in HCAI healthcare projects and be based in California or the West Coast time zone.As a Senior Cost Manager Estimator, you will be responsible for representing the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates with the values of OCMI. You will be the lead OCMI representative, capable of explaining cost deliverables, processes, and justifications in formal meetings, presentations, or negotiations. Your expertise in cost estimation and management will be crucial in providing detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types.

What You Will Do
- Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates with the values of OCMI
- Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types
- Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope
- Support the development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client's project and strategic goals
- Facilitate document control, file management, and ensure data accuracy
- Lead comprehensive estimating efforts, overseeing quality control, and clearly communicating cost strategies to clients, A/E consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and client needs
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and negotiations as the lead OCMI representative
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve estimating processes and services
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in HCAI healthcare projects, preferably in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation and management principles, practices, and techniques
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
