About the Role

The Senior Customer Marketing Manager position at Twilio is a unique opportunity to shape the future of customer marketing within the EMEA region. As a key member of the Customer Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and scaling Twilio's customer advocacy program, orchestrating customer storytelling across various marketing campaigns and programs. Your primary objective will be to create a pipeline of customer advocates and lead them through integrated end-to-end engagements, showcasing their success stories across content, events, PR, and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of what resonates with EMEA audiences and be able to map these narratives directly to customer programs. You will work closely with sales, product, and marketing stakeholders to identify and nurture customer advocates, delivering high-impact customer stories that demonstrate Twilio's value and business impact.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with sales, product, and marketing teams to identify and nurture Twilio customer advocates
  • Develop a deep understanding of the narratives that resonate with EMEA audiences and map them to customer programs
  • Lead end-to-end engagements with customers to showcase their success stories across various marketing channels
  • Deliver a steady stream of high-impact customer stories to help customers and prospects understand Twilio's value
  • Balance local and central needs for EMEA customer storytelling, wearing the customers' shoes to become a trusted partner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build customized, relevant, and mutually beneficial co-marketing experiences
  • Source, activate, and amplify customer success stories
  • Work with marketing and sales stakeholders to build a pipeline of customer advocates
  • Lead customer advocates through integrated end-to-end engagements
  • Showcase customer stories across marketing programs to demonstrate Twilio's value and business impact

What We Are Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in customer marketing, advocacy, or related roles
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales and marketing roles
  • Experience working directly with senior executives in customer accounts on marketing engagements
  • Strong understanding of B2B technology marketing principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong project management skills to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with global teams

Nice to Have

  • B2B technology marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with large enterprise customers and Global 2000 brands
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in marketing
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms
  • Certification in marketing or a related field
