About the Role
The Senior Customer Success Architect plays a critical role in delivering Amplitude's AI-first digital analytics platform to its customers. As a trusted technical advisor, you will work closely with customers to provide guidance on data management, taxonomy design, and tech stack. Your expertise will be instrumental in unlocking use cases and guiding internal and partner delivery teams. As a Senior Customer Success Architect, you will be at the forefront of this effort, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline internal processes and improve data management experiences.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers, from small startups to large enterprises, and help them achieve their goals using Amplitude's platform. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive customer outcomes, improve customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for growth.
What You Will Do
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for Amplitude's customers, providing guidance on data management, taxonomy design, and tech stack.
- Unlock use cases and guide internal and partner delivery teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Embed AI in day-to-day workflow to improve efficiency and customer outcomes, and experiment with new approaches to share best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, platform support, and customer success, to streamline internal processes and improve data management experiences.
- Gather, organize, and report trends and customer insights to optimize business processes, documentation, and services.
- Provide strategic consultation in taxonomy design, instrumentation, and data governance to help customers achieve their goals.
- Develop and maintain clean product analytics data to ensure customers can understand and drive their products forward.
- Work with customers to integrate Amplitude into their workflows and business processes, making Amplitude an integral business partner.
- Identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to expand Amplitude's presence in the market.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of customer-facing technical experience, with a demonstrated record of successfully engaging with enterprise accounts.
- Competence in programming languages and concepts that underpin modern web and mobile development, such as SQL, JavaScript, Java, Python, Android, iOS, and RESTful APIs.
- Execution and customer service-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize and complete customer deliverables on time and drive outcomes.
- Prior experience working with SaaS solutions in domains such as product analytics, digital marketing, A/B testing, business intelligence, customer data platforms, data warehouses/pipelines, or integration partners.
- Excellent verbal and written social, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of experience and technical competencies.
- Problem-solving mentality and positive attitude towards change, with the ability to adapt to a rapidly growing company.
- Strong curiosity for innovative solutions and a dedication to getting things done.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
