About the Role
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer dedicated to strengthening the nation's security through innovation and technology. This remote role emphasizes collaboration and technical skill in the field of cybersecurity.Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reusable frameworks and APIs for zero trust authentication.
- Create comprehensive developer guides and documentation.
- Support fine-grained authorization mechanisms.
- Collaborate with architects on security service performance and compliance.
- Conduct code reviews and advise teams on secure coding practices.
- Stay updated on new technologies in zero trust and identity management.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on automation.
- Experience in implementing security controls and continuous compliance monitoring.
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP, and other government frameworks.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation.
- Experience with source code repositories like Bitbucket and GitHub.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of container orchestration tools, preferably OpenShift.
- Background in cloud security practices.
