About the Role
The Senior Data Analyst role at Acxiom is a critical position that supports the design, delivery, and optimization of customer and digital data products for financial services clients. This role is focused on customer data platforms, marketing data lake, and personalization enablement, requiring a deep understanding of data management and modernization. The Senior Data Analyst will partner closely with product, marketing, technology, vendors, and data governance teams to achieve these goals. As a key member of the team, the Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for applying their technical expertise to drive business outcomes. This includes working with large datasets, applying data modeling principles, and ensuring data quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence product and roadmap decisions through data-driven insights.What You Will Do
- Partner with product managers to define product KPIs, success metrics, and analytical requirements across customer and digital products
- Support the modernization of clients' marketing data lake as the enterprise data foundation for customer and marketing insights
- Design and maintain entity-based data models for the marketing data lake
- Apply medallion architecture principles to marketing data lake design
- Support analytics, personalization, customer acquisition, and lifecycle-marketing strategies
- Experience with audience segmentation, campaign targeting, suppression, and eligibility rules
- Ensure alignment between enterprise data lake entities and Adobe RTCDP profile and event schemas
- Collaborate with engineering and data platform teams to define data ingestion, data remapping, transformation, and modeling requirements
- Document data definitions, business rules, and assumptions in alignment with client's data governance standards
- Apply consent, privacy, and data usage controls across all analytics, journey, and activation use cases
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, information systems, computer science, economics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in product analytics, marketing data lake, or customer data platforms
- Strong experience in data modeling and documentation
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Excel and data analysis tools
- Understanding of customer, identity, marketing, and journey data
- Attention to data quality, controls, and compliance
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments
- Familiarity with identity resolution and customer identity graphs
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data lineage, and metadata management
