About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst, Supply Product, will play a pivotal role in enhancing SeatGeek's payments strategy, focusing on the Money Movement product team. This involves partnering closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Payments, and Risk, to define success metrics, measure the impact of initiatives, and build analytical foundations for scalable support. The role is remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world, and is part of a dynamic team that influences the direction of SeatGeek's Supply product.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data analysis, SQL, and advanced analytics techniques. They will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that guide decision-making and drive measurable improvements in the purchasing and payout experience at SeatGeek. What You Will Do

  • Develop reporting frameworks and metrics to measure the incremental revenue made by launching different features.
  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics Engineering to implement and measure the success of new payment methods, such as Account Credit.
  • Measure the impact of adding payment methods on conversion rates and take rates.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve payment unit economics and product experience based on historical trends.
  • Evaluate the expected impact of different partnership opportunities to inform business decision-making.
  • Perform A/B test analysis in partnership with the Checkout Product Team to gather insights and shape the experimentation roadmap.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to optimize payment options and influence customer behavior towards certain payment methods.
  • Measure how different costs factor into the net take and work closely with Supply Product teams to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build lasting data modeling solutions, including automating analyses and authoring pipelines via SQL-based ETL frameworks.
  • Communicate key learnings and recommendations to product teams to influence decision-making.

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • A degree or higher in economics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, psychology, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL and experience with advanced analytics techniques.
  • Experience performing analysis with large datasets and building reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools.
  • Understanding of online testing methodologies and metric development.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) is a plus.
  • Domain expertise in payments and complex revenue metrics is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Redshift.
  • Familiarity with experimentation tools like Eppo.
  • Experience with event stream tools such as mParticle.
