Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer on the CMDB and Asset Intelligence platform, you will play a critical role in building the unified data foundation that powers asset visibility, cost optimization, and security insights across the company. Your day-to-day will involve designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, developing medallion architecture, and partnering with IT, Security, and Finance teams to define data quality and governance standards. You will be part of a dynamic team that relies on data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

The success of this role depends on the ability to turn messy, multi-system data into trusted, decision-ready signals. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data sources, including ServiceNow, Okta, Oracle, and Jamf, and contribute to the development of a centralized lakehouse architecture. Your expertise in data engineering will help raise the bar on data quality and governance, and your collaborations with cross-functional teams will shape the long-term direction of the platform.

Dropbox's Engineering Career Framework is designed to support the growth and development of its engineers, and this role is no exception. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to take on new challenges, develop your skills, and contribute to the company's mission to create a more efficient and collaborative work environment.
