What You Will Do
- Build and manage business data pipelines to ensure reliable and high-quality data
- Transform Firefox telemetry data into structured, high-quality datasets
- Partner with data scientists, product, and marketing teams to turn complex datasets into actionable models and metrics
- Ensure data quality by using observability tools to monitor data performance and resolve data issues as they arise
- Evolve the data platform by partnering with other data engineers and platform engineers to improve workflows and processes
- Maintain data integrity by ensuring data governance and privacy policies are implemented and enforced
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data needs and requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation of data pipelines, datasets, and data processes
- Participate in a weekly triage rotation to resolve data issues and improve data quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and architecture
What We Are Looking For
- At least 4 years of professional experience in data engineering
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with data pipeline management and data quality assurance
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling principles
