About the Role

The Senior Data Scientist position at Dropbox's new division is a groundbreaking opportunity to be part of a team that is defining the future of AI/ML in the company. What You Will Do

  • Partner with Product Engineers and Data Engineers to build reliable, efficient, and scalable data foundations, tools, and processes to drive long-term growth of AI/ML capabilities.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to proactively identify the most impactful opportunities and directly influence product roadmaps and strategies.
  • Perform exploratory and deep-dive analyses to uncover new insights and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to develop and implement new AI/ML models and algorithms.
  • Work closely with the Product team to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data systems and tools to support the analysis and modeling needs of the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML and data science.

What We Are Looking For

  • A strong background in data science, with a focus on AI/ML.
  • Experience working with large datasets and developing predictive models.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, with a proven track record of influencing product roadmaps and strategies with data-driven insights.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
