About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist at Lemon.io, you will be working on a wide range of projects, from conception to delivery, using your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and programming to drive business growth for our startup clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating directly with clients, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard. You will have the autonomy to choose your schedule and work asynchronously, with the opportunity for minimal overlap with team working hours.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth for our startup clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and design
  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights
  • Work on projects from conception to delivery, using your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and programming
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data pipelines and architectures
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data warehouses and data lakes
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python, NumPy, and Pandas
  • Work with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure to deploy and manage data systems
  • Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist
  • 3+ years of experience with NumPy, Pandas, and Python
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to create projects from scratch and a deep understanding of application architecture
  • Clear and effective communication in English, with the ability to discuss business tasks, justify decisions, and communicate issues
  • Good self-presentation and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong self-organizational skills, with the ability to work full-time remotely with no supervision
  • Reliability, adaptability, and flexibility, with the ability to onboard projects promptly and start delivering results quickly

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
