About the Role

The Senior Data Scientist role at Dawar Consulting is a unique opportunity to work with a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, building data science and AI-driven solutions to enhance commercial effectiveness. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing predictive models, scaling Next Best Action solutions, and creating GenAI agents to drive business growth. Your expertise in machine learning, data science, and AI will enable actionable insights for stakeholders across various functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Advanced Analytics.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, designing and implementing data-driven solutions, and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in driving project success.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, contributing to the development of predictive patient event modeling, Next Best Action engines, and GenAI-powered decision agents. What You Will Do

  • Build predictive models for patient events and HCP engagement using machine learning algorithms and techniques
  • Scale Next Best Action solutions across brands and channels to drive business growth
  • Develop GenAI agents, RAG workflows, and AI-powered decision tools to enhance commercial effectiveness
  • Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines using Databricks, AWS/Azure ML, and other relevant tools
  • Apply MLOps best practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD
  • Work with healthcare datasets, including claims, EHR, CRM, and digital engagement data
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Analytics teams to deliver insights and drive business growth
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify business problems and design data-driven solutions
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics
  • 5-7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a focus on pharma commercial
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning modeling
  • Experience with LLMs, GenAI frameworks, and LangChain/AutoGen
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS/Azure ML, and other relevant tools
  • Strong understanding of MLOps best practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD
  • Experience working with healthcare datasets and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
