About the Role

The Senior DevOps Engineer 2 position at Sophos is a critical role focused on the Power Platform, aiming to accelerate several exciting projects and champion the adoption of the platform across the organization. As part of the IT Enterprise Engineering team, the successful candidate will provide technical leadership for Collaboration, Identity, Workflow, Compute, Storage, and End User Compute environments. The role involves working closely with developers, IT, and business stakeholders to refine strategy, automate workflows, and enhance platform capabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Grow the adoption of Power Platform by collaborating with stakeholders to refine strategy, automate workflows, and enhance platform capabilities.
  • Design reliable integrations and automations between Power Platform and business systems, ensuring stability through robust testing.
  • Administer Power Platform environments, including strategy, licensing, and monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain efficient Power Platform solutions, transforming existing processes into automated workflows.
  • Work closely with the team to build upon the success of earlier initiatives and drive the adoption of the platform throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with developers, IT, and business stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and automation.
  • Leverage knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) to combine these with Power Platform services for enhanced solutions.
  • Participate in agile working practices, including scrum teams, to ensure rapid delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert advice on licensing in the Power Platform, ensuring cost-effective and compliant solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of Power Platform solutions, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of the COE Starter kit and other related technologies.

What We Are Looking For

  • Hands-on experience of 3-4 years with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
  • Proven track record of building Power Automate cloud and desktop flows, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio agents.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and how they can be combined with Power Platform services.
  • Understanding of Agile working practices and experience working in scrum teams.
  • Enthusiasm for optimizing and automating business processes.
  • Passion for delivering solutions that have a great user experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Power Platform administration, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of the COE Starter kit and other related technologies.
  • Ability to communicate the value of Power Platform solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with Adjust and Excel tools for data analysis and visualization.
