About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Evolutioniq, you will be responsible for building and managing scalable, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure across cloud platforms. This role is crucial in driving the company's mission to improve the lives of injured and disabled workers and enable them to return to the workforce. You will work closely with the data engineering team to ensure efficient infrastructure and drive cost efficiencies.Evolutioniq is experiencing massive growth, and as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a leading role in evolving the platform. You will be responsible for defining standards for a consistent software development life cycle and driving operational excellence across environments.

What You Will Do
- Improve and further the observability stack across GCP infrastructure and applications
- Drive consistency and operational excellence across all teams
- Enable the data engineering team to use Dagster efficiently
- Leverage tools like Terraform, Github Actions, Helm, and ArgoCD to build efficient infrastructure as code pipelines
- Ensure industry-standard security controls in cloud environments
- Institute a culture of reliability in a federated ownership environment
- Design and run production systems on GCP
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to drive cost efficiencies and operational excellence
- Integrate with SIEM and security software, such as vulnerability scanners
- Define standards for a consistent software development life cycle
- Drive cost efficiencies and operational excellence across environments
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of DevOps experience
- Extensive experience designing and running production systems on GCP
- Deep exposure and familiarity to networking concepts, Kubernetes clusters, Docker, containerized development, Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD
- Experience with production operations and working with product engineering teams
- Experience integrating with SIEM and security software, such as vulnerability scanners
- Ability to understand a client's business problem and show the business impact of technical solutions
- Team player with a solutions-oriented approach
- Crisp written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with automation and scaffolding around Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Dagster
- High standards for timely delivery of CI/CD pipeline
