About the Role

The Senior DevOps Engineer role at Imaginary Cloud is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, creativity, and drive for impact. What You Will Do

  • Manage cloud environments in both AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using various automation tools
  • Drive system security, reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Design and implement cloud architectures that meet business requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Participate in the development of new projects and technologies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps
  • Background in software development with experience in management and automation of CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in cloud management, including AWS and Azure
  • Experience with Cloud Observability and Monitoring platforms (Grafana or Splunk preferred)
  • Strong understanding of system security, reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Docker, etc.)
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Ruby)
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Certification in DevOps or related fields
