About the Role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in scaling and streamlining PT. PERTAMINA Persero's infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. This involves designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient systems that support the company's growth and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, Linux development, or infrastructure engineering, with a solid understanding of containers, orchestration tools, and automation. PT. PERTAMINA Persero is looking for a team player who can work closely with the development team to optimize build, test, and deployment processes for speed and reliability. The successful candidate will have experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and a good understanding of networking, Linux internals, and system security.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of software applications
  • Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using scripting skills in languages like Bash and Python
  • Optimize build, test, and deployment processes for speed and reliability
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the system by implementing appropriate security measures and monitoring tools
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify areas for improvement in the deployment process
  • Develop and maintain documentation of the infrastructure and deployment processes
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of new infrastructure projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and infrastructure engineering

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Linux development, or infrastructure engineering
  • Solid knowledge of containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Compass
  • Good understanding of networking, Linux internals, and system security
  • Scripting skills in languages like Bash and Python for automation tasks
  • Deep understanding of programming languages like C, C++, Go, or Rust
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment
