Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote within Romania)

## About the Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Nymphis Technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with our Scrum teams to implement and manage security controls, automate processes, and optimize our infrastructure for high availability and scalability. Your expertise in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes, will be essential in driving our tech transition and delivering high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy scalable and secure solutions. You will be responsible for defining and assessing the need for relevant tools to address security and automation challenges within our cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

## What You Will Do - Implement and manage security controls and automation in a DevOps environment within public clouds - Define the need and assess relevant tools to address security and automation challenges within cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines - Manage and optimize a highly complex infrastructure and CI/CD setup - Collaborate with Scrum teams to share the responsibility of managing the CI/CD process, particularly for individual microservices - Prepare application setup and infrastructure scalability for high load scenarios, high availability scenarios, and zero downtime deployments - Manage Cloud and On-Premise services such as Atlassian stack, Email servers, etc.

• Engage in the creation, deployment, and maintenance of Microservices infrastructure

- Customize configurations for distinct product types, in line with complex business rules - Assist with the operation and maintenance of our Azure-hosted servers - Automate processes and tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

## What We Are Looking For - Strong knowledge and experience in managing cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes - Familiarity with Kyma and knowledge in managing enterprise applications on Kubernetes - Scripting expertise in either Bash or Python - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, and Git Actions - Experience with microservices architecture, specifically Spring Boot and AWS Lambda Functions - Understanding and experience with serverless programming - Knowledge of tools like Kuma, Kompass, Helm, and SAP Commerce Cloud - Proactive, innovative, and problem-solving mindset

## Nice to Have - Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or Google Cloud - Familiarity with agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks - Knowledge of ITIL and IT service management principles - Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana
