Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (f/m/x)

## About the Role As a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer at MAIA, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the company's platform infrastructure, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and scalable. You will work closely with the development team to design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment workflows, and monitor system performance. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and DevOps practices will be essential in driving the company's growth and success. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about what they do and are dedicated to delivering high-quality results. ## What You Will Do - Design, implement, and maintain the company's platform infrastructure, including Hetzner, AWS, GCP, and Azure services - Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other tools - Implement and maintain observability stacks, including metrics, logs, and alerting systems - Ensure the security and integrity of the platform, including IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning - Collaborate with the development team to design and implement deployment workflows and automation scripts - Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations as needed - Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks for platform operations - Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for platform-related issues - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the platform and its operations

## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role, preferably in a SaaS environment - Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and security principles - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or equivalent - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions or similar tools - Experience with observability tooling, including Grafana, Loki, and Sentry - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, and Azure - Experience with PostgreSQL operations, including availability, backup and restore, and performance awareness - Strong security fundamentals, including IAM and least privilege, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

## Nice to Have - Experience with ISO 27001 implementation, especially technical controls - Experience with NixOS or other Linux distributions - Experience with self-hosted Supabase and Postgres-based platforms - Experience with SRE practices, including SLOs, error budgets, and incident review culture - Familiarity with multi-cloud usage patterns and cost optimization strategies
