About the Role
As a Senior Director, Analyst Relations at Twilio, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's global analyst relations strategy and leading a high-performing team. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and solidifying Twilio's leadership in established markets, as well as educating and influencing analysts in new and emerging categories. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and a compelling storyteller to the industry's most influential market analysts.The analyst relations function is a vital component of Twilio's communications strategy, and as the leader of this team, you will be responsible for driving the global AR strategy across the company's core and emerging enterprise tech portfolio. This includes CPaaS, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Identity, Conversational AI, and comprehensive Customer Engagement Platforms.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Communications, Product Marketing, and R&D, to ensure that Twilio's story is told effectively and that the company's products and services are well-represented in the market.
What You Will Do
- Set the global analyst relations strategy across Twilio's core and emerging portfolio
- Drive execution by partnering cross-functionally across Communications, Product Marketing, and R&D
- Build and nurture deep, trust-based relationships with tier-one firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC) and key industry consultants
- Lead strategic advisory sessions, briefings, inquiries, and flagship events like the Analyst Summit
- Identify high-impact opportunities to amplify Twilio's story beyond traditional coverage and reports
- Educate and influence analysts in new and emerging market spaces and gain insight to feed back to the business and inform the company's roadmap
- Drive the end-to-end strategy and content submission process for major market reports (Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes)
- Collaborate with product marketing and senior leadership to ensure winning positioning
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and product leaders, providing sharp feedback on messaging and thoroughly preparing spokespeople for high-stakes analyst engagements
- Scale and optimize the AR function, improving organizational structures, managing budgets, and implementing processes that elevate the entire team's execution
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in analyst relations, communications, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in leading analyst relations teams and driving global AR strategy
- Deep understanding of the modern B2B enterprise technology landscape
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with analysts and executives
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in scaling and optimizing teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with major market reports (Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes) and content submission processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive business outcomes

- Knowledge of the communications and technology industries, with a strong understanding of trends and market dynamics
