About the Role
The Senior Director, Data Acquisition and Partnerships, will play a key role in developing and optimizing Experian's data acquisition and partnerships strategy. This will involve navigating the dynamic financial data ecosystem, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team that values innovation, diversity, and inclusion.The role will require close collaboration with internal organizations, including data management, data governance, product management, sales, finance, procurement, and legal. The Senior Director will report to the SVP, Enterprise Data Strategy, and will be responsible for managing a team of professionals who are passionate about data and its potential to drive business growth.

What You Will Do
- Develop and optimize data acquisition and partnerships strategies to support Experian's Financial Services and Data (FSD) business
- Manage and optimize existing data partner relationships to increase ROI and reduce costs
- Evaluate potential new financial data partnerships to enrich Experian's data offerings
- Collaborate with strategy and product teams to align data acquisition efforts with needs and strategic goals
- Oversee testing, licensing, and integration of new data assets into Experian's systems
- Build and manage relationships with diverse data providers, including aggregators, Direct to Consumer companies, niche providers, and public data sources
- Negotiate and execute data licensing agreements and vendor contracts
- Manage vendor compliance, renewals, and performance reviews
- Partner with legal and privacy teams to ensure data partnerships comply with relevant regulations and Experian standards
- Monitor data use to uphold privacy standards and mitigate risks
- Implement cost management initiatives to optimize ROI on data spend
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in data acquisition, partnerships, or a similar role within the financial services industry
- Understanding of consumer and financial data, including data assets and technology providers
- Experience negotiating complex agreements and managing vendor relationships
- Fluent in data and data regulatory landscape
- Experience influencing stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in Excel and other data management tools

- Experience working in a global company with operations in multiple countries

- Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks
