About the Role
The Senior Director, Demand Generation will play a crucial role in driving pipeline growth and accelerating deal velocity across mid-market and enterprise accounts globally. This role will own the end-to-end engine that drives new pipeline growth, working closely with Sales, RevOps, Product Marketing, and Brand to build a demand engine that balances short-term pipeline goals with long-term system health.As a key member of the marketing team, the Senior Director will be responsible for defining and executing the marketing demand strategy, aligned to company growth goals, ICPs, and GTM priorities. This will involve translating revenue goals into clear, measurable demand plans, forecasts, and operating metrics, as well as partnering with Sales to ensure pipeline planning, forecast credibility, and account coverage.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the current market landscape and the ability to introduce creative, differentiated programs that break through the noise in a competitive market.
What You Will Do
- Own global demand strategy and outcomes, defining and executing the marketing demand strategy
- Lead key demand channels and programs, including field and event marketing, ABM, integrated campaigns, paid media, and webinars
- Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation plan, aligned to company growth goals and GTM priorities
- Partner with Sales to ensure pipeline planning, forecast credibility, and account coverage
- Build and manage a team of demand generation professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure success
- Develop and manage the demand generation budget, ensuring effective use of resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Brand, and RevOps, to ensure alignment and maximize impact
- Analyze campaign results, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve demand generation strategies
What We Are Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in demand generation, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of driving pipeline growth and accelerating deal velocity
- Strong understanding of GTM and demand generation strategies
- Experience with field and event marketing, ABM, integrated campaigns, paid media, and webinars
- Ability to analyze campaign results and provide insights and recommendations
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience building and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally
- Strong understanding of marketing automation and CRM systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or Pardot
- Knowledge of sales and marketing alignment strategies
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in demand generation or marketing, such as the Demand Generation Certification
