About the Role

The Senior Director, Growth Marketing at Klaviyo is a pivotal role that will shape the company's customer acquisition strategy and drive revenue growth. As a seasoned growth leader, you will have the opportunity to build and execute a comprehensive growth plan, leveraging your expertise in SaaS growth, demand generation, and performance marketing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, campaigns, and digital, to drive experimentation, innovation, and customer acquisition.

Klaviyo's growth engine is propelled by a category-defining product and a strong market presence. As the Senior Director, Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for owning sign-up volume, new logo acquisition, and growth ARR, and building the strategy, team, and operating rhythm to consistently hit these targets. Your ability to think strategically, drive experimentation, and lead high-performing teams will be essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SaaS growth, demand generation, and performance marketing, as well as experience leading cross-functional teams and driving growth in a PLG or hybrid environment. You will be a strategic thinker, a creative problem solver, and a collaborative leader who can inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.

What You Will Do

  • Own sign-up volume, new logo acquisition, and growth ARR, and build the strategy, team, and operating rhythm to consistently hit these targets
  • Build an experimentation engine to drive continuous testing and learning
  • Identify and build new sources of demand, including partnerships, integrations, and emerging platforms
  • Lead Klaviyo's growth team as an AI-first organization, leveraging AI-powered workflows and emerging tools to drive growth
  • Shape the integrated growth plan, synthesizing insights from campaigns, paid media, digital, and product to drive a coherent, high-conviction strategy
  • Partner with the Director of Growth in R&D to connect marketing motion with product-led acquisition
  • Translate growth performance into clear, confident narratives for senior leadership
  • Spot emerging opportunities and risks, and surface recommendations for investment and growth
  • Build and develop a team of growth experts who are sharp, fast, and motivated by the mission

What We Are Looking For

  • 15+ years of experience in growth, demand generation, or performance marketing, with at least 5 years leading senior, cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of driving growth in a SaaS environment, with expertise in demand generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of PLG or hybrid environments, and experience connecting marketing motion with product-led acquisition
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision making
  • Experience with AI-powered workflows and emerging tools, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive growth
