About the Role

The Senior Director of Product-Led Growth Marketing is a high-impact leadership role that will own marketing's contribution to Dropbox's self-serve revenue line. This position requires a deeply analytical and growth-minded individual who can seamlessly bridge data-driven performance marketing with brand storytelling. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, Sales, and Brand teams to optimize user journeys across Brand, PLG, and Sales-Led Growth motions.

As a key member of the marketing leadership team, the Senior Director will be responsible for driving the strategic vision and financial accountability for Dropbox's PLG marketing revenue. This includes maximizing customer lifetime value while managing efficient customer acquisition costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading and scaling global digital marketing functions, including Paid Media, SEO/GEO, Web Strategy, and Lifecycle Marketing.

The Senior Director will report to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for leading a team of marketing professionals. This is a remote role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with a distributed team.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and scale Dropbox's global digital marketing functions, including Paid Media, SEO/GEO, Web Strategy, and Lifecycle Marketing
  • Drive the strategic vision and financial accountability for Dropbox's PLG marketing revenue, maximizing customer lifetime value while managing efficient customer acquisition costs
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, Sales, and Brand teams to optimize user journeys across Brand, PLG, and Sales-Led Growth motions
  • Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to inform future marketing strategies
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and ROI-positive campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth in Dropbox's marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on product-led growth and digital marketing
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling global digital marketing functions, including Paid Media, SEO/GEO, Web Strategy, and Lifecycle Marketing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven marketing strategies
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems, including Marketo and Salesforce
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of marketing professionals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of the marketing technology landscape, including AdTech and MarTech
  • Experience with A/B testing and experiment design, with a focus on optimizing marketing campaigns for maximum ROI

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based marketing platforms, including Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services
  • Knowledge of programming languages, including Python and JavaScript
  • Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI
  • Certification in marketing or a related field, including Google Analytics and HubSpot
