About the Role

The Senior Director, Product Management role at Fullstory is a hybrid position that requires in-office attendance one day per week at our Seattle coworking space. As a key member of the product team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our flagship product, Fullstory Analytics. You will lead a team of talented product managers, drive product strategy, and deliver solutions that help our customers turn massive amounts of digital experience data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the product management landscape, with a focus on data analytics and customer-centricity. You will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategic roadmap, ensuring it aligns with Fullstory's overall mission and business objectives. Your expertise in Google Analytics and Excel will be crucial in driving data-driven decisions and delivering solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

As a leader, you will be expected to manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers. You will foster a culture of innovation, customer empathy, and data-driven execution, and ensure that your team is equipped to deliver exceptional results.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and inspire a team of product managers to deliver exceptional results
  • Define the product vision and strategic roadmap for Fullstory Analytics
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that meets the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, and market trends
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation, and develop strategic plans to pursue them
  • Guide your team through the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to launch and iteration
  • Ensure that products are built with a customer-centric approach, and that customer feedback is incorporated into the product development process
  • Develop and maintain a metrics-driven approach to product development, using data to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a go-to-market strategy and product positioning

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of shipping successful products in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Google Analytics and Excel
  • Strong understanding of data platforms and how to turn complex datasets into intuitive and powerful user experiences
  • Exceptional people leadership skills, with a passion for building and developing teams
  • Strategic, systems-level thinker with the ability to connect the dots between different teams and stakeholders
  • Customer-centric approach, with a relentless drive to understand customer needs and pain points
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence without authority
  • Technical background, with experience working with engineering and design teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with products like Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, or Tableau
  • Certification in data analytics or product management
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and lean product development principles
