About the Role

As a Senior Director of Product Marketing at Klaviyo, you will lead the product marketing team in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for the company's largest product portfolio, including Marketing, Data Platform, and AI. You will be responsible for crafting unified positioning and messaging for Klaviyo's products and partnering with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap. This is a rare opportunity to own the narrative for the full breadth of what makes Klaviyo different and establish the company as a category leader in the marketing automation landscape.

The role is based in San Francisco, CA, and will involve working closely with the product management team, sales teams, and other stakeholders to develop and execute product marketing strategies. As a leader, you will be expected to model AI-powered workflows and inspire a team of passionate product marketers to do the same.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Klaviyo's largest product portfolio, including Marketing, Data Platform, and AI
  • Craft unified positioning and messaging for Klaviyo's products, spanning AI, omnichannel automation, and the full channel suite
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape the product roadmap, particularly as the company scales its AI agent capabilities
  • Establish Klaviyo as the definitive thought leader in B2C marketing by developing a strong POV on what it means for AI to handle the work of marketing
  • Launch new, innovative features and products into market that cut through the noise in the marketing automation landscape
  • Build core sales and marketing assets, such as pitch decks, one pagers, enablement trainings, and more
  • Support Sales teams in strategic deals that require deep product expertise and a strong understanding of B2C customer needs and use cases
  • Lead a team of product marketers who are responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies

What We Are Looking For

  • 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing roles, ideally with a stint marketing to Marketing buyers
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing and coaching individual contributors, building the next generation of great product marketers
  • Strong understanding of the marketing automation landscape and the role of AI in marketing
  • Experience with GTM and product marketing, including developing and executing go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to model AI-powered workflows and inspire a team to do the same
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and present to executive audiences
