About the Role
The Senior Director, Product Marketing will lead the development of go-to-market strategies for Klaviyo's largest and most strategic product portfolio, including Marketing, Data Platform, and AI. This role entails working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales teams, and customer success teams, to drive business growth and establish Klaviyo as a category leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing, a deep understanding of the marketing automation landscape, and experience in leading high-performing teams.As a senior director of product marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and customer retention. You will work closely with the product team to develop a deep understanding of Klaviyo's products and services and translate that into compelling marketing messages and campaigns. Your team will be responsible for crafting differentiated, unified positioning and messaging for Klaviyo's marketing products, including AI-powered automation and omnichannel marketing.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Klaviyo's marketing products, including AI-powered automation and omnichannel marketing
- Lead a team of product marketers responsible for crafting differentiated, unified positioning and messaging for Klaviyo's marketing products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales teams, and customer success teams, to drive business growth and establish Klaviyo as a category leader
- Develop a deep understanding of Klaviyo's products and services and translate that into compelling marketing messages and campaigns
- Partner with product managers to develop a product roadmap that meets the needs of Klaviyo's customers and drives business growth
- Establish Klaviyo as a thought leader in B2C marketing by developing a strong POV on what it means for AI to handle the work of marketing
- Launch new, innovative features and products into market that cut through the noise in the marketing automation landscape
- Build core sales and marketing assets, such as pitch decks, one-pagers, and enablement trainings
- Support sales teams in strategic deals that require deep product expertise and a strong understanding of B2C customer needs and use cases
What We Are Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing roles, ideally with a stint marketing to marketing buyers
- 5+ years of experience directly managing and coaching individual contributors, building the next generation of great product marketers
- Strong background in product marketing, with a deep understanding of the marketing automation landscape
- Experience in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth through marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of AI-powered marketing tools and their application in marketing automation
- Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and customer retention
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop insights that inform marketing strategies
Nice to Have
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or Pardot
- Knowledge of AI-powered marketing tools, such as machine learning or natural language processing
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Certification in product marketing or a related field
