About the Role

The Senior Director of Product & Strategy plays a pivotal role in transforming Salesloft's product organization, leveraging AI innovation and real signals to drive confident decision-making. This position entails leading a dedicated team to ensure product-led initiatives are not just visionary but also executed with precision across every department. The role reports to the Chief Product Officer and is central to shaping the commercial strategies that drive growth.

Day-to-day, the Senior Director will navigate the intersection of business case development, financial modeling, and product health metrics to inform strategic decisions. The ability to extract clear narratives from complex data and communicate them effectively to skeptical executives is crucial. This leader will also be responsible for cross-functional orchestration, ensuring that product initiatives are supported company-wide and that the product operating system is optimized for velocity.

What You Will Do

  • Own the economic engine of the product organization, building rigorous financial models and business cases for new investments and market entries.
  • Establish a framework for measuring the return on R&D investment, continuously auditing product performance against projected commercial outcomes.
  • Architect and manage the global Product Scorecard, defining North Star metrics and ensuring all team OKRs are linked to top-line company growth.
  • Serve as the primary connective tissue between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, aligning departments to support product-led initiatives.
  • Lead the cross-functional Go-to-Product engine, owning operational readiness, field enablement, and launch synchronization for major releases.
  • Design and scale the Product Operating System, optimizing the end-to-end lifecycle and managing the integrated tech stack.
  • Collaborate with the CPO and other senior leaders to develop and execute product strategy.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the product organization.
  • Develop and manage the product budget, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.

What We Are Looking For

  • Background in Management Consulting, Finance, or a highly analytical Product role, with the ability to navigate complex financial models and SQL databases.
  • Experience leading teams in high-growth environments, with a proven track record of implementing scalable systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and narrative skills, able to convince skeptical executives with data-driven stories.
  • Experience with product-led growth initiatives and the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven revenue systems and predictive analytics.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide high-performing teams.

  • Experience with Pendo, Productboard, Jira, or similar tools for product management and development.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based software development and deployment practices.
