About the Role
The Senior Director of Sales and Operations Planning at OLLY will be at the forefront of developing and executing the company's supply chain strategy. This role is critical in ensuring that the company's operations are aligned with its sales goals, maximizing efficiency and profitability. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and will be a key leader within the growing Operations team.As part of the VMS Co-Op, OLLY is poised for continued growth, and this role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain operations, including sales and operations planning, and will be skilled in using tools like Excel to analyze data and inform strategic decisions.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy to meet sales and operations goals.
- Analyze sales forecasts and historical data to inform supply chain decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure alignment and effective planning.
- Utilize Excel and other data analysis tools to model supply chain scenarios and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and participate in S&OP meetings to review sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, including suppliers and logistics providers.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in sales and operations planning, preferably in the VMS or related industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
