About the Role

Uptalent.io is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and architecture of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical architectures for BESS platforms, including AC and DC power distribution systems
  • Develop single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and cable schedules
  • Integrate battery systems, battery management systems (BMS), PCS inverters, transformers, and switchgear
  • Define grounding strategies, protection schemes, and isolation methods for high-power electrical systems

Requirements

  • Experience in designing electrical distribution systems and protection schemes
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics, cable schedules, and single line diagrams
