About the Role
The Senior Engineering Operations Technical Program Manager (TPM) role at Iterable is a unique opportunity to drive the company's platform scalability, reliability, and predictability. As a key member of the Engineering Operations team, you will identify high-leverage areas for improvement and develop programs, processes, and lightweight tooling to enhance execution consistency across teams. What You Will Do
- Partner with engineering leaders and teams to identify priorities and translate them into clear program plans and deliverables
- Lead cross-team initiatives that improve platform scalability and predictability, such as Incident Management frameworks, Error Budget Policies, API maturity practices, and engineering health visibility
- Define and track success metrics, measure outcomes, and continuously iterate programs based on data and feedback
- Communicate clearly and consistently, providing regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to stakeholders at all levels
- Audit existing processes and implement improvements that reduce friction and increase consistency
- Collaborate beyond Engineering (Product, GTM, Support/CS) to execute effective rollouts and drive adoption
- Identify areas for process automation and implement solutions to increase efficiency
- Develop and maintain documentation of processes, programs, and technical specifications
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams
What We Are Looking For
- Experience leading cross-functional programs within an engineering organization, partnering effectively with Engineering, Product, Security, and other stakeholders
- A track record of using AI to improve personal and team productivity, and strong judgment about where to apply automation
- Strong technical program management skills, with the ability to drive complex projects from conception to delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of engineering health and reliability practices, including metrics and monitoring
Nice to Have
- Experience with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python or Java
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira or Asana
- Certification in technical program management or a related field
