About the Role
As a Senior Enterprise Account Manager at Hootsuite, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of large, strategic customers. This role involves building and maintaining influential relationships with customers, leveraging your expertise in Hootsuite's products and industry trends to drive renewal and expansion strategies. You will collaborate with management and other stakeholders to ensure a proactive and seamless approach to the renewal and expansion process.Your day-to-day activities will include managing sales and renewal processes, anticipating customer needs, and providing relevant insights and recommendations to improve adoption and enhance social presence. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining rolling forecasts, monitoring account data health, and mitigating risks.
Hootsuite's flexible work arrangement allows for remote work or a hybrid model, depending on your location. If you are near a commuting distance from the Toronto or Vancouver offices, there may be a hybrid component to your role.
What You Will Do
- Build and nurture influential relationships with strategic customers for a book of business
- Anticipate questions and provide relevant insights to improve adoption and enhance social presence
- Proactively lead the post-sale relationship, including multithreaded customer engagements and leading negotiations
- Develop and utilize creative and strategic thinking to resolve complex issues and identify win-win renewal outcomes
- Provide recommendations to improve operational processes through on-the-job learning
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts, including monitoring account data health and anticipating risks
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, building multi-threaded relationships and leveraging in-depth knowledge of product fit
- Identify and independently pursue account upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Evaluate customer needs and advocate internally as the voice of clients on product strategy, feature development, and pricing decisions
What We Are Looking For
- 5-7 years of account management and sales experience, preferably in the technology (SaaS) industry
- Proven success managing an enterprise customer portfolio and demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of opportunities
- Proven record of consistent quota attainment or portfolio management, with experience developing account plans
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and ability to leverage data-driven insights within the customer journey and sales process
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain influential relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively
Nice to Have
- Experience in the social media or marketing industry
- Certification in sales or account management, such as CSAM or CSTM
- Knowledge of Hootsuite's products and services
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment
