About the Role

The Senior Environmental Consultant role at Bureau Veritas is a dynamic and exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join a global team of experts in the field of environmental consulting. As a technical representative for clients, you will provide technical management of specific client needs, ensuring client satisfaction and upholding industry and company standards. You will be responsible for managing assigned field staff, coordinating and directing projects, and providing technical direction and guidance to ensure high-quality results.

The role involves working closely with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements. You will be the lead technical point of contact for various clients and contracts, including government and commercial contacts, and will be responsible for providing guidance and technical direction for assigned regional clients and their protocols.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the technical representative for clients, providing technical management of specific client needs
  • Manage assigned field staff in completion of a variety of real estate due diligence services
  • Coordinate and direct field staff assigned to projects on a project-by-project basis
  • Review and evaluate work progress and identify and resolve problems
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to field staff on an as-needed basis
  • Assist field staff manager with specific departmental duties, such as reviewing protocols and creating technical documents
  • Review and technically edit reports to ensure accuracy, content completion, and quality
  • Prepare reports for on-time delivery to clients with accompanying correspondence
  • Communicate with clients and immediate supervisor to discuss and develop solutions to concerns found while onsite or performing research of the project site
  • Authorize shipment/transmittal of completed reports to clients
  • Manage portfolios, including client and staff meetings, communications with clients, and management of work for portfolio properties

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines, such as HUD and ASTM
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with client management and technical sales support
  • Knowledge of industry standards and company protocols

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certification in environmental consulting or a related field
