About the Role

The Senior Executive Assistant role at Mozilla is a critical position that provides high-level, proactive support to the CEO and COO. As the sole Executive Assistant, you will be the connective layer across executive priorities, teams, and information, ensuring complex initiatives move forward with clarity and momentum. Your day-to-day activities will involve anticipating needs, prioritizing effectively, and extending the impact and efficiency of executive leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Act as a connective layer across executive priorities, teams, and information, helping ensure initiatives move forward with clarity and momentum.
  • Provide high-level, proactive support to the CEO and COO, anticipating needs and prioritizing effectively.
  • Manage executive scheduling and logistics, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
  • Support projects by preparing materials, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving follow-through on key initiatives.
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, the Board, and other teams across a global, remote-first environment.
  • Coordinate governance activities, including board meetings, committee meetings, and other key events.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, managers, and team members.
  • Represent executive leadership both internally and externally, maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion when necessary.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role, supporting senior executives or high-level teams.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional support, anticipating needs, and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to exercise discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Strong digital literacy, with experience using a range of tools and software, including calendar management, email, and project management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
