The Senior Executive Business Partner role at Gitlab is a central position that supports the Chief Information Officer in managing the company's operations. What You Will Do
- Support the Chief Information Officer with day-to-day administrative and operational needs across scheduling, communications, planning, and execution.
- Manage complex calendars by vetting requests, prioritizing meetings, recommending tradeoffs, and aligning schedules with Gitlab meeting norms and practices.
- Proactively manage inbound requests to the CIO by framing issues, offering recommendations, and helping drive timely decisions instead of simply escalating questions.
- Own and strengthen leadership cadences across the broader Office of the CIO, including staff meetings, team meetings, planning rhythms, and other recurring operating mechanisms.
- Prepare detailed agendas, briefing materials, and meeting content far enough in advance to support thoughtful review and meaningful discussions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's goals, objectives, and priorities, and be able to communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as HR, Finance, and Marketing, to drive operational efficiency and alignment.
- Analyze and improve processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the company.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex calendars, prioritizing tasks, and driving operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Experience with AI tools, Google Workspace, Slack, Navan, Zoom, and other productivity software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a remote environment, with a strong focus on self-motivation and discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or communications.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
- Certification in project management or a related field.
